We are Grandville’s first and only bed & breakfast and opened our doors in April 2002. Here at Prairieside Suites, we offer a clean, warm & inviting atmosphere while making sure your every need is met.

We are passionate about interior design and our elegant decorating will stimulate your senses and give you ideas to take home with you. Our guests leave feeling like family and return many times again.

We have created many unique, technologically savvy rooms, all with the latest and greatest of what's available from the kitchen & bath industry!

  We have WiFi throughout the property as well as direct plug-in to hi-speed internet in rooms. So you choose what's best for you!

Before you book your Michigan Getaway somewhere else, make absolutely sure the Bed and Breakfast meets these criteria:

1. Make sure the Bed and Breakfast is clean & allergy-free! I can't tell you how many times we've stayed at Bed and Breakfasts that were old, dusty and unkept.
   
2. Make sure if the Bed and Breakfast advertises "Jacuzzi for 2" it is ACTUALLY big enough for TWO people at ONE time! Paul & I have stayed at Bed and Breakfasts where this was NOT the case.
   
3. Make sure the Bed and Breakfast is concerned about your privacy and sound considerations. We stayed at a Bed and Breakfast once where the kitchen was literally on the other side of our headboard. We were awoken VERY early the next morning (6AM) to listen to EVERY dish being put away & moved while she was cooking breakfast.
   
4. Make sure there is an air conditioner vent IN your room. We stayed at a Bed and Breakfast once that they advertised for this, but literally told us to "keep the door open" with the adjoining door so their air conditioning could pass into our room.
   
5. Business guests, make sure the Bed and Breakfast has a comfortable chair and good desk lighting. That's the worst thing when you have to be productive for business and you do not have adequate work area with an uncomfortable chair.
